Fun pics

I'm getting pretty tired of winter and am starting to dream about days of walking outside, playing at the park, swimming in the pool, etc . . .I know spring is right around the corner, and I can't wait!
Here are just some random pics to share. This next one cracks me up every time I see it. Can you tell the kid loves lasagna?
We love playing with Quinn's cousin Fiona. It's so cute to see them interact more and more each time they're together.

We Are . . .

If you are familiar with Notre Dame, you might know the chant where some yell, "We are . . ." and the answer chant is, "ND!". Well, I taught that to Quinn as a little gift to my Irish-loving husband. I caught a quick snippet of it for your viewing pleasure. Quinn gets very into yelling these days . . .

Florida Family and Friends

It's so neat to go to Sarasota and feel like it's a second home. Grandpa Lou and RuthAnn live there, and so does Johnny, Andy's brother. This time was really fun because Q interacts so much more with everyone. Before we left on our trip, we taught Quinn to say Johnny, which he says very clearly as "Nonny". He immediately understood who that was once we saw Johnny, and for the rest of the time, said his name over and over whenever he was around (and now says it every time he sees his pic here at home)! We're pretty sure he thinks Grandpa Lou's name is "Hi" because they would say that to each other over and over, and now that we're home, every time Q sees Grandpa Lou's picture, he says hi. We had a lot of fun seeing "Uncle" Dustin too, but didn't get any pics with him.

It was so fun to see Papa Bruce for a few days too! Here is the group of Albert guys all together.
And Quinn had his first kiss already! No joke, he kissed Haven, Johnny's girlfriend's niece, at least 3 times when we said goodbye. He doesn't even kiss me! ) : A sign of times ahead, I'm sure . . .

Mommy and Quinn

Really, is there any better job in the world than being a mom? Good gravy, I have fun with my Quinn. It is overwhelming how much I love him. I actually miss him when I put him to bed at night. Is that crazy? I'm sure much more challenging times are ahead, but right now, I'm having the time of my life.

I love, love, love going for walks. By far, the worst thing about winter for me is the loss of our daily walk. Can you tell by the scenery why I was just in heaven going for walks around where we stayed? One day, Quinn and I walked for over 2 1/2 hours (split into 2 walks, with lots of Cheerios).

Florida Fun

I know it's been a few weeks since I posted, but that's because we were able to enjoy a wonderful 8-day getaway to our favorite vacation spot--Sarasota, Florida. It was absolutely awesome to escape the winter weather and enjoy time as a family outside, going for walks, swimming in the pool, and going to the beach. All good things come to an end, though, and now we're back, anxiously waiting for spring to arrive. I have a bunch of fun pictures to post, so I'll do that as time allows.
These two pictures were taken directly outside the condo where we stayed. You can see our condo on the left in the picture below.
Siesta Key beach is the most gorgeous beach we've ever been to, and it holds a lot of special memories for us because it's where Andy and I decided to start dating, during spring break 1998. :) We spent New Year's Day 2006 on this beach, and we prayed that day about our hopes to soon have a baby. It makes it very special to have our little guy there with us now.
